We the undersigned are angry and disgusted with Adidas showing Soviet symbols (the USSR’s Coat of Arms and the “USSR” abbreviation) on it’s products.
As we have discovered, the Soviet symbols apparel can be found at the following national sites of Adidas:
United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Austria, Switzerand, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Russia (of cause!), South Korea, Japan.
We believe: depicting Soviet symbols on clothing is as wrong, disgusting and unacceptable, as showing Nazi ones. By displaying the USSR’s Coat of Arms and the “USSR” abbreviation on it’s apparel, Adidas hurts millions people who’ve lost their ancestors, friends, neighbours, property and freedom as the result of Soviet regime’s crimes.
We demand from Adidas to:
– Remove apparel with Soviet symbols from all Adidas stores around the world, both online and brick-and-wall ones.
– Publicly apologize for using the above symbols on your products.
Say “NO!” to whitewashing bloody Soviet legacy: sign this petition!
